Solution design
Components that measure, record, transmit, analyse, report and communicate energy management information to enable the business to manage its energy use by highlighting unusual patterns of energy consumption.
Following the completion of the survey an energy monitoring and targeting solution is designed as appropriate for the site.
A complete component-based Automatic Monitoring and Targeting (aM&T) system must include the installation of components that measure, record, transmit, analyse, report and communicate energy management information to enable the business to manage its energy use by highlighting unusual patterns of energy consumption. It will comprise of meter(s), a meter reading system, data management software and analytical software. All components need to be present to create an AMT system. New components may be added to pre-existing, but otherwise qualifying components to expand an existing system. Not all sites require a full-blown aM&T system.
The proposal will include recommendations regarding project implementation and listing requirements for hardware, software, communications, data management, software etc. It will also detail aspects of the project to be completed by the customer or other subcontractors, and will highlight our assessment of the potential impact of the proposed system on existing energy management systems already in place. There may be a recommendation on a phased approach to the roll out of the monitoring and targeting system.
