Overview

This comprehensive and intuitive energy management suite provides an extensive range of techniques for managing all aspects of energy data. eSight® allows you to bring together all your energy analysis and reporting needs under one application accessed from anywhere within your organisation.

Hughes Energy Systems is a registered reseller of eSight software in Ireland and have seen eSight being successfully implemented by energy champions at customer sites across the country.

The eSight monitoring & targeting software from eSight Energy is used for data analysis and presentation. eSight is a web application. This simplifies access to the software, as all access is made using a web browser – Microsoft Internet Explorer (Acrobat Reader is also needed printable reports) – and the software can be accessed from any computer on the customer network, and via the Internet if the system is configured to permit this.

eSight contains a selection of modules which may be combined according to the specific requirements of the customer. A custom report designer is also available.

The software functionality is presented within two main user levels: Advanced and Express. The Advanced level provides complete access to the full eSight suite whereas Express presents a simplified view for non-specialist users.

eSight runs in the Microsoft .NET Framework and uses Microsoft SQL Server for data storage. It can be installed on the XP, Vista or Server versions of Windows.

It is available as a fully-hosted service, accessed via the Internet, or can be installed on a server on the customer's own network.

Other eSight products

eZdash is a new interactive dashboard that allows the user to view energy facts & figures calculated using their own energy data. The dashboard has an interactive touchscreen allowing the user and is intended for display in public areas. Click the logo for more information.

Hosting

eSight Energy provides a hosting service for customers that have purchased an eSight license but choose to have it hosted within eSight Energy’s data centre hosted from their Global HQ.

This service includes the provision of hardware, operating system, backup and support for of the infrastructure, together with access to eSight via a high speed fibre Internet connection. All access to eSight will be provided through Internet Explorer.

Hosting services are provided for an annual fee linked to the total number if metering channels you have in operation.

Rapid Implementation
The energy monitoring software is not installed onto your network, so there is no delivery of software and no required IT tests to undergo. Therefore, the hosted solution enables you to be up and running almost instantaneously.

eSight Energy will take care of all of the day-to-day running aspects of the system. You can take your mind off time consuming activities such as IT support issues, security updates, system and hardware upgrades etc, and get on with managing your energy.
